Bio: Through my 25 years in journalism, I have been fortunate to be part of the mass media revolution of the last decades. From the manual typewriter to non-linear editing systems. From lone correspondent to the working teams of the electronic age. It was the early 1990's when I began my journalism career as a radio reporter. While online content was not yet a reality, media conglomerates were starting to experiment using reporters across print and audiovisual platforms. In 1992, I won a Fulbright fellowship for the project: News Content in an Integrated Multimedia, and shortly after I completed my MA on Broadcast Journalism at the University of Southern California. For the next eight years, I reported, wrote and produced news for major Spanish-language media (Univision, NBC, CBS-UPI, CNN, and others.) In 1997 I won a Television Emmy Award for my work as a writer at Univision Los Angeles. Since 2000, I have been writing and publishing Award Winning books, while also producing video and online content for several Fortune 500 companies (Disney, McDonald's Corporation, Johnson & Johnson) through my company Force 5 Productions. I am the mother of four crazy children, and the owner of three not so well-behaved dogs.
